Left in stock: 10
$18

These skinless kunekune pork hocks are ideal for slow cooking until fall-off-the-bone tender when all of the deep flavors from connective tissue and bone are released. Our pastured kunekune pigs are known for their nutrient dense meat and fat and the hocks are a perfect showcase of this truth! We love making osso bucco with them or they are the perfect option to make small portion pulled pork based meals such as pork carnitas. A smoke master could also cure/brine them and then smoke them for use in soups, collards, or beans.

MKONO Farm is a small batch swinery that specializes in the slow growing heritage breed Kunekune. We are a pastured piggery that practices pasture rotation fostering permaculture systems on farm. We strive to utilize the Kunekune pig in every facet we can by selling show/breeding stock, homestead stock, feeders to whole pig, roasters, meat by the cut, and charcuterie. Our pigs are humanely raised, well loved, and grass fed from start to finish.
